National Account Manager - Distribution Sales - UK field based Durapipe Competitive salary and bonus package Car, laptop, mobile phone, 25 days holiday statutory, childcare voucher scheme, flexible benefits We are seeking a commercially astute National Account Manager . A brand new role, this is a unique opportunity to join our established distribution sales team focussing on our highly renowned Durapipe brand. Durapipe, part of the Aliaxis group of businesses, is a UK market leading manufacturer of thermoplastic pipework systems. Our products are sold and used in a variety of applications and through an international distribution network we have a substantial presence in all corners of the World. Responsibilities With designated key accounts you will be driving sales at customer head office level. You will be responsible for creating your business plan and setting up national trading agreements with your key distribution partners whilst liaising with Category Management, Procurement and Marketing at director/senior management level. You will also work closely with the Durapipe field sales team acting as a link between regional head offices and regional trading branches whilst providing the sales team with valuable sales information to help support them in achieving their sales objectives. The majority of your time will be spent travelling across the UK, spending time at customer head offices, meeting with regional distribution directors or with the sales team in distribution branches. Experience A manufacturing Key Account background ideally within construction/building services Knowledge of the distribution market would be advantageous Experience of/excellent commercial acumen in managing national / key accounts at head office level Ability to create workable sales plans Strong negotiation and influencing skills IT/CRM literate This is a field based role with national coverage which will require your flexibility to travel and stay away from home. A full driving licence is essential.
