Our client is one of the leading asbestos Health and Safety management consultancies in the UK and they provide a comprehensive range of services to meet the requirements of their prestigious clients. The services provided include asbestos risk management, environmental services, occupational hygiene, water services and asbestos health and safety management services. Due to acquiring new contracts, they are actively seeking the services of a high calibre and versatile Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in the South East, along the M25/East Anglia and they will include applications from Surrey, Essex Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience: The applicant must have attained the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent - RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have significant practical experience working within this role and within asbestos sector. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package - Database. Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos. Key Tasks: Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing and ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time scale. Carrying out Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties -including commercial and industrial. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos. Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Health and Safety legislation with regards to asbestos. Liaising with clients and Project Managers on a regular basis. Collating and writing accurate reports as and when required. Liaising with the Project Managers with regards allocations of jobs on site. Building and maintaining good relationship with the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients. Getting involved with other duties as and when required. Producing accurate and comprehensive reports.
