Our client based in Altrincham are currently looking for a Fleet Maintenance Planner. Ideally you will have previous experience, you will be working in a new area of the business in a small team of 6. Role Purpose - To communicate with customers and external service providers to deliver the highest possible levels of service in relation to scheduled and non-scheduled trailer/vehicle maintenance. Responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive maintenance and servicing plan for all managed fleet of trailers and vehicles. The overall planning function incorporates specific activities including preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, MOT, LOLER and all other legislative requirements relating to the successful and compliant operation of all fleet trailers/vehicles. Responsible for the development and implementation of robust plans to ensure all compliance and maintenance repairs are carried out in accordance with legislative and company/customer policy. Extensive use of planning tools and scheduling tools such as maintenance management systems, historical records, office automation software etc. is required. All employees in the planning team will provide coordinative integration between the customer and supplier network to ensure timely and proactive adherence to all scheduled parameters. Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30pm - 5.00pm Skills Required You will have excellent customer service skills.
