Job Title: HR Manager (Spanish speaking) Location: Oxfordshire Salary: Up to £33,000 Our client is a training company with a global presence based just north of Oxford. Due to growth and new business they are now looking to acquire the services of an HR Manager to work in their Oxfordshire office. This role will cover European offices and you will need to understand Spanish employment law and speak both English and Spanish. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career. Main responsibilities: Act as point of contact for employees and managers in the region Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, from recruitment and selection, performance management to departure activities. Create and coordinates HR projects, using own initiative and as required by the region. Actively identify gaps, proposes and implements changes where necessary. Build strong business relationships with regional managers and staff. Attend management meetings as required to report on HR activities and progress. Provide advice and guidance to managers across the region as required. Provide initial advice and support as appropriate in disciplinary, grievance and other such matters. Maintain currency on changes to employment law including applying new employment law to relevant areas of responsibility i.e. employment contracts, termination and redundancy issues. Assist with the development of appropriate HR policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of staff throughout the region. Implement effective communication and information dissemination practices. Undertake research and data analysis as required. Visit relevant work sites, as required, to facilitate resolution of staff issues related to their employment. Operates within financial and operational delegations. Key Skills & Experience: Diploma in HR or related field and or CIPD qualification. Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist or coordinator role. Demonstrated knowledge of UK and Spain employment laws. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and understanding of cross-cultural communication. Demonstrated high level time management and organisation skills, with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and change. Must have right to work and live in the UK.
