Project Engineer required for an exciting opportunity with our client who are a leading manufacturer of products for a rage of different industries. The Project Engineer will be required to provide detailed technical support for complex packaged solutions and contracts from initial enquiry through to installation and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. As the Project Engineer you will have an opportunity to work alongside a varied and well experienced team in a busy and demanding environment. The Project Engineer will update and, where possible, significantly improve processes in own area. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing contractors and suppliers on allocated projects in conjunction with the External Project management team Key Skills required: Proven project engineering capability demonstrated by recent delivery of on time & budget. Excellent communications skills. Capabilities to understand and learn complex engineering information Experience in a customer facing role Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels PC Literacy - Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc Skills preferred: Engineering knowledge & delivery of Capex projects CAD Literacy ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD data and use associated visualisation tools. Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc. Working knowledge of project delivery processes GPDS / FPDS / PCS / PRINCE2 or similar Working knowledge of change management processes Experience required: Minimum HNC in a technical discipline, alternatively a proven track record of working in a similar business/industry Member of an appropriate professional body Demonstrable ability to work under pressure Project management skills Excellent Decision making ability Strong interpersonal skills The Benefits: You will have a unique opportunity to join an multinational company in an exciting period of growth and a further opportunity to enhance your career in a fast paced manufacturing, project management environment.
