Catalent Pharma Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the Clinical supplies Department at our Bathgate Facility. Here at Catalent Bathgate, the patient comes first. We are currently looking to recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to oversee our Clinical Supplies at this exciting time of continued and sustained growth within the Pharmaceutical industry. The dedication of our Clinical Supplies team ensures that essential Patient supplies are reliably supplied through high standards of Employee and Patient Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. As the Warehouse manager your role will be to manage the workload, capacity and performance of the department, ensuring the integrity of clinical trial supplies, received, stored and packaged for shipment at Bathgate are compliant with cGMP, GDP and study requirements. Successful candidates for this role will understand that the safety of patients is paramount and that we work to provide a quality focussed service at all times. As an experienced Warehouse Manager, preferably with Pharmaceutical industry experience, you will be a confident communicator with strong leadership and negotiation skills. Ideally you will be able to prioritise your workload and manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines. You should have a good eye for detail and approach tasks from a process improvement mind set while displaying well developed problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, Technical writing skills are also required for this role. In your role you will have responsibility for the following: To ensure all activities of the team are performed in accordance with product handling and transport regulations and best practice: GDP, cGMP and Dangerous Goods (By Road and Air) Controlled Temperature materials from ambient to frozen. Managing the overall performance of the department with respect to the site goals around Organisation and Discipline - including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. You will manage the performance of the department with respect to absence management and appraisal systems. You will be required to report to Line Manager any issues which may impact on the any delivery timelines ensuring solutions are identified and action taken. Your role will require you to liaise with and support to internal and external customers on a study specific basis. As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for developing and mentoring Team Leaders and supporting staff as required and understanding the training requirements of the department to ensure skilled resources are available. You will be required to review operating procedures to ensure they are complied with and are current. You will also ensure month end deadlines for billing are delivered on time and in full. The role will see you being responsible for ensuring resources are available to meet the immediate day to day and planning for S&OP forecasting. Providing KPI data with appropriate corrective and preventative actions/ improvement plans as per agreement with internal and external customers ensuring all system transactions are completed timely and accurately by department. To undertake other tasks as assigned by relevant Manager(s). To be eligible to apply for the role you will have a background in a GMP environment with GDP knowledge which is essential for the role holder to be able to evidence. You should be able to evidence Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, or equivalent management experience (min 3yrs).
