Senior Demolition Contracts Manager London £negotiable This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful construction company and multi-disciplined specialist contractor who provide a broad spectrum of decontamination, demolition, engineering, construction and telecommunication services. The role: In the role of Senior Demolition Contracts Manager you will support projects from pre-construction phase through to handover to client or main contractor. You'll have overall responsibility and accountability for delivery of a single or multiple projects with contract value up to £40m. Responsibilities: Health, Safety and Environment and Quality Ensuring the sites adherence to the Health, Safety and Environmental regulations Identifying and addressing breaches to Safety, Health and Environmental issues Ensuring adherence to Considerate Constructors Scheme Following up on and closing corrective action plans Finance Monitor and control projects performance against estimate and budget Creating and reporting on financial forecast Achieving expected profit margins Identification of financial risks and management of limiting their impact Programme Ensuring effective delivery of the project to the programme schedule Implement and monitor regular review of the programme Making amendments to the programme to reflect any changes and delays Regular reporting on the progress of delivery and comparison to programme schedule externally and internally Identification of programme risks and management of limiting their impact Client relationship Interface and represent the project to client Keeping clients informed Managing clients' expectations Contract Management Managing contract between the company and the clients or main contractors as well as subcontractors Working within the framework of JCT, NEC 3 or bespoke demolition contracts Provide expert advice to the project team on the content of the contract Identify areas of variation, negotiating price and ensuring clients payment Contractual notification to client such as variation and delays Drafting and negotiating contracts amendments Managing Contract Administrator Instruction, Architects Instruction and Confirmation of Verbal Instruction Risk Management Early identification of key risks and evaluating their impact on the delivery of the project Site management Providing technical support and leadership to the site teams and project managers Informing the site of clients' changing expectations You: Ideally you'll be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Demolition or similar and will have previous contract management experience You'll have experience of JCT, NEC3 or bespoke contracts and you'll be commercially and contractually astute and proactive. You'll have experience of project delivery over multiple projects and teams and you'll have strong negotiating skills / experience.
