Network Solutions Presales Architect - Enterprise Networks Package - Excellent plus bonus and benefits Our client, a leading global provider of Networking and IT Solutions has retained us to help grow their current highly successful team. RESPONSIBLE FOR - Presales and technical design for clients, design authority for client projects, architecture and design for Network solutions. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB •Network subject matter expert - With a broad and deep understanding of Networking, you will be responsible for delivering that message to customers, and helping them define network solutions that meet their needs. The work will take the form of individual customer pre sales, and potentially public speaking to groups of customers. •Solution design - Production and verification of solutions, incorporating writing elements of proposals and high-level design, BoM creation. •Consultancy and Project Management engagement - Build and develop strong peer to peer relationships with our consultancy team. Drive the documentation and adoption of agreed standards within our deployments. •Commercial acumen - This role is primarily Pre-Sales, a commercial acumen is key to ensuring clients receive the best advice both technically and from an industry trends perspective •Sales enablement - internal engagement and evangelism of Network Solutions to the sales force & management team. •Internal collaboration - maximise and leverage company investment in Solutions Architects, Services BDMs, ServiceWorks cloud platform, and professional services resources. •Client engagement - driving and evangelising company capabilities to customer base. Differentiating to competition through its productised services, consulting capability, cloud services and expertise. •Design Authority - Provide technical guidance and hands on involvement in complex or demanding projects KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE •4 years experience in a role in architecture or senior consulting •Detailed knowledge and (if appropriate) relevant accreditation is required in the following topics from products, marketplace and business practice perspectives: •Strong capabilities with at least one top tier network vendor, such as Cisco, HP, Juniper, two would be a major advantage. •Ability to assess requirements and defining network technology services and solutions for our customers •Must have a good working knowledge of Wireless & Enterprise Networking, practical understanding of security concepts, products and architectures would be an advantage •Must be full CCIE level •Knowledge of DC technologies would be a major advantage •Cost modelling and business case assistance internally and for customers in the delivery of these solutions •Ability to learn or understand what is required at all stages of the sales cycle, from understanding the customer's decision making process whilst managing vendor requirements for sales closure PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES •Passionate, particularly about the area of specialist focus •Articulate and credible •Pragmatic approach •Quality and detail orientated •Positive attitude and influence to others •Innovative in approach to solutions and meeting customer expectation •Excellent communicator in all forms up to C- Level •Excellent organisation and time management skills •Commercial aptitude to specify appropriate solutions •Able to achieve potential, stay inspired and motivated •Desire to retain the highest levels of accreditation in the area of specialist focus •Able to drive a individual plan based on business strategy Please send your CV or call to discuss the role in more detail.
