Calling upon your coaching and servant leadership skills, you will be empowered to help support and enable the product development teams. This will involve constantly looking at ways to improve, introduce and advance new practices and work with the teams to deliver high value working software as fast as possible. WHAT WILL YOU DO? You will be helping teams moving forward with a legacy product adopt Agile ways of working. You will be expected to be passionate about building great teams, whilst advocating transparency and good communication principles with the whole organisation. In addition to working with the product development teams, you will also be part of a small team of Scrum Masters who are working together to share learnings and ideas. You will be expected to have a close working relationship with the Product Manager and development teams and communicate progress and development regularly to stakeholders. WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Essential Skills Personal Skills At least 3 years’ experience as Scrum Master or equivalent working within software development teams Passionate about shipping software as often as possible and continuous delivery, but able to balance this with the needs of the customer and sustainable pace of the team Must be continuously looking to improve your craft, learning new tools and techniques to support the team Must desire to bring transparency to the business and grow trust Experience supporting product owners to master the art of writing vertically sliced stories and to support product management to continuously deliver Passionate about improving and maintaining quality Experienced working with multi-disciplined highly skilled teams including Developers, QA, Devops, Business Analysts and Product Managers Ability to coach teams and individuals Must be able to embrace change and inspire the team to do so Must be an experienced facilitator and able to structure sharing and learning spaces Experienced working with teams who have existing legacy products retrofitting agile practices and tooling. Technical Skills Strong experience using Agile tools such as TFS, TeamCity, JIRA, Version One, Rally Has worked with and coached teams to use BDD and TDD practices Familiar with version control and release management practices Our Top 10 List If you love the status quo, we’re not for you.
