Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months’ experience within a similar setting, have recent night work experience and a good understanding of autism. Candidates will also have already obtained or are working towards the NVQ3/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care/Children & Young People’s Workforce. Driving is also an essential requirement for the post and experience of leading shifts is desirable. The standard shift pattern for these positions will be four nights on followed by four nights off, 12 hour shifts commencing at 20.45 – 08.45 All working hours will include weekends and bank holiday working.
