Based within the North West of England, SF Taylor has been providing print solutions for organisations across the UK for over 85 years. We are proud to be a leading Public Sector print specialist offering a comprehensive range of print management solutions, from in-house design, printing, stock control to online solutions and delivery. Due to continual growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Production & Commercial Controller within a permanent, full time role based at our Stockport site. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established experienced team. You will handle and control daily job scheduling and support commercial requirements for the business. The role requires a team player that is capable of developing a good working relationship across the business and the role is pivotal to a streamlined manufacturing process. Essential Requirements: Experienced within the print industry with a commercial and/or production background Complete understanding of print processes Commercial understanding of the sector and overall commercial acumen Understanding of the sector and supporting manufacturing supply chain Able to react to customer demands and achieve SLA’s Able to receive instruction and follow tasks accurately and efficiently with minimum of supervision An enthusiastic individual, who can work quickly and efficiently using their own initiative to a high standard Able to learn new processes and procedures and willing to undertake any requisite training A good and effective communicator with a good work ethic Excellent at time-keeping with a good attendance record Experience in Tharstern and electronic production scheduling a key advantage, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
