An initial temporary Estates Officer role of mechanical bias in London at a renowned & successful NHS Trust Your new company You will be working for a large and successful NHS trust in London. The trust serves an inner city population of 700,000 people whilst also being a referral centre for millions of people within the South of England. Your new role You will be working within a thriving and busy Estates department and supervising a team of in house maintenance engineers in their day to day tasks of providing high class reactive maintenance alongside PPMs. You will report to the Estates Manager and Director and liaise with them to ensure that the very best service is received by the trust in all maintenance and Estates related tasks. You will share the responsibility of supervising circa 20 engineers alongside another Estates Officer. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will be of a mechanical bias with relevant qualifications to support this. You will have a strong background of working in commercial maintenance with particular knowledge and experience in plant such as HVAC, boilers, chillers, AHUs and be able to complete cause and effect fault finding. You will be used to working with BMS and in particular Trend systems. It is essential that you have strong man management skills and it will extremely advantageous if you have experience of working in hospital environments as you will have interaction with critical care units and theatres. Any working knowledge of the CAFM system Planet FM will be extremely advantageous too. What you'll get in return In return you will start on an initial temporary assignment working 37.5 hours per week. You will be paid in line with NHS band 6 and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a rewarding environment.
