This is a 2-3 month internship paying £1,300 per month with the potential to extend. How can you expect to spend your day? You will join the company to support the delivery of an exciting new project, working with two clients from the financial services sector with the aim of using technology to streamline their internal processes and make the company run more efficiently. Tasks you can expect to learn about and undertake include: • The overarching project is to plan, build, test and launch a new customer onboarding platform for the clients, this will involve a lot of analysis of the current systems and mapping out how proposed new systems will work within the company. • You will work closely with the CEO to deliver this project, collaborating with multiple business partners as well as internal stakeholders at board level. • Produce regular progress reports to keep the client notified. • Help audit business processes, mapping how these work and identify opportunity for greater efficiency within the business e.g. how a form is processed, a new employee is brought on board, learning material etc. and ultimately use technology to make the business more streamlined. • Contribute to the delivery of all projects, including project plans, status meetings, progress reports and initiation/closure activities. • When necessary, help to write and deliver end-user training materials. • Investigate and research any new applications which may be of interest to and benefit the business. The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications are: The ideal candidate for this position is a recent graduate interested in project management, management consulting or the FinTech sector. Desired skills, personality and experience: • Educated to degree level, subjects which have developed a process led thought process are preferred e.g. science based. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Excellent analytical, problem solving and teamwork skills. • Able to use own initiative. • A logical and process driven thought process. • Understanding of Microsoft Office suites including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in using MS Visio and MS Project is preferred but not absolutely essential • Willingness to learn and be challenged • A positive approach to work • Good personal organisation What are the perks of this internship?
