Joining a technical organisation in Hemel Hempstead, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk / 1st Line Support Engineer to work in an established technical support team, providing hands-on technical expertise to solve a variety of technical problems. You will provide technical support to customers, field engineers and other internal departments on a variety of IT issues; supporting networks (VOIP, VLAN, Ethernet, etc.), databases (writing queries in SQL), Windows operating systems and servers. Proven experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk / 1st Line Support position is essential - with expertise in Windows Server, Networks, Databases and SQL. Additional training will also be provided on additional systems as required. You will need to be a strong communicator who can build relationships with customers and effectively analyse and resolve technical problems.
