A fantastic Full Time, Temp to Perm opportunity has been made available by an established Housing Provider in Bristol. The role is of a Crisis House Manager working in a project with ten female service users, all with Mental Health support needs. Due to the nature of the service, the client is looking for a Female candidate since the service users are all vulnerable females. As a Crisis House Manager you will be responsible for the management and development of the Crisis House Service ensuring the team's work is co-ordinated and delivers a cohesive service to service users. You will be tasked with taking a direct responsibility for the leadership, operational and performance management of Crisis House Service and at the same time you will need to provide inspirational and motivational leadership and management to maximise team engagement and commitment to organisational goals. As part of your role you will need to contribute to the management, promotion and development of relevant policies and procedures and quality assurance systems that support the delivery of services under your remit and embed continuous improvement within the organisations performance and development. You will champion recovery orientated and psychologically informed practice. Ensure the team's work with clients is recovery focused, and strengths based, enabling clients to maximise their choice and control over the support they receive, and to pursue their hopes and ambitions. Part of your role will be to oversee the management and operation of the 24 hour staffing rota and use of bank staff ensuring sufficient staffing levels at all times. You will need to take the lead responsibility for the management and delivery of services, working closely with Deputy Manager to ensure staff work to high professional standards. As a Crisis House Manager, you will need to Manage the Referral Care Pathway, ensuring bed spaces are maximised by the timely effective management of referrals, assessments, admissions and departures on the service. Ensure effective involvement and liaison with the Crisis, Assessment and Recovery Teams; Inpatient Services; Facilitated Early Discharge Workers; GP's. You will also be required to oversee the assessment and support planning processes to ensure that the needs of the service user fits the criteria and can be met safely by the service. Ensure that referral agencies and other involved professionals are informed about vacancies and progress of service users. You will be using recovery orientated support and psychologically informed interventions to help staff to engage and support women in a creative, consistent and assertive way to ensure that positive outcomes are achieved. Working in the capacity of a Crisis House Manager, you will need to ensure the team's work with service users is recovery focused, and strengths based, enabling clients to maximise their choice and control over the support they receive, and to pursue their hopes and ambitions. The ideal candidate will need to have significant management and Mental Health experience to be considered for this role. A Full UK DL and Access to a car is required.
