Buyer - Southampton - Up to £40,000 dependant on experience A Buyer is required for a well established and reputable distributor based in Southampton. This position will give you the opportunity to work with a progressive employer, who are very much a market leader in their industry. Package: Salary up to £40,000 dependant on experience. 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays - Increases annually. Pension Healthcare On site parking. Buyer Responsibilities: You will be responsible for building, managing and maintaining excellent working relationships with suppliers. Work with the suppliers to develop relationships. Negotiate agreements which will create savings and maintain quality. Continuous self development and product knowledge learning. You will work closely with the quality team. Buyer Requirements: A minimum of 3 years purchasing experience is essential. Previous experience purchasing tooling products will be essential Experience working with suppliers in the Far East will be beneficial A CIPS qualification will be beneficial.
