One of the UK's fastest growing, multi-award winning, financial technology business with a focus on global payments are looking to hire a Development Manager to join their incredible & ever growing team Reporting into the Head of Software Development, you'll be in charge of between 4 and 6 Agile Development Teams, working on specific product areas to bring a best in class experience to consumers and businesses across the globe. The in-house IT Team consists of about 70 people split down into smaller Agile teams, with different product focuses, and they're hoping to bring on board an experienced Development Manager who can continue fostering their Agile culture of innovation & breaking boundaries, during this incredible growth phase. They currently have around 500 people across the globe, with a clear mission in mind to grow to 1000 by 2020, scaling their technology function in the process, so this is an absolutely key hire and will play a large part in shaping this incredible business's technology for the future. They are acknowledged as one of the best companies in the UK to work for. They currently work in a LAMP environment with Zend, Symfony2 and Silex, along with working to TDD/BDD, caches, round robin databases, message queues, microservices and more They're also introducing new technologies to their stack, with some services/applications written in the likes of Java, Python and Node.js.
