In order to provide the highest level of care we need to ensure we recruit talented, competent and passionate carers. That’s where you come in We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to provide support to vulnerable adults in the community, this will include tasks such as personal care, companion calls, domestic calls, and general welfare calls. One of our Homecare Support branches have been awarded a brand new extra care scheme through the North Somerset Council to provide domiciliary care to a supported living care home based in Worle, Weston-Super-Mare. Salary, Hours, Benefits and requirements: · Contracted Hours · Salary of £8.14 - £8.64 per hour · Working hours between 6:45am – 3pm or 3pm – 10pm · Waking night shifts available from 10pm – 7am · Free uniform and PPE · Paid training · Refer a Friend Scheme of up to £200 · Career progression · Driver’s license at this time may not be required on the assumption you’re able to meet the shift requirements · Excellent customer service skills both via telephone and in person · Attention to detail is a must in this role to ensure you work towards company policies and procedures, ensuring the quality of care standard is consistent throughout our services. Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check shortly after being successful at interview the cost of this will be met by the applicant. This role has an exception under the Equality Act 2010 as you must be aged 18 or over. Experience is not essential as full, paid training and shadowing will be provided.
