Digital Social Analyst and Planner We have an exciting opportunity to own and drive the insight and analytics capability across our online spaces and activity, leveraging wider insight and skills to: Proactively measure the performance of our online spaces Leverage technology and data skills in reporting of campaign and engagement activity To actively recommend change to existing approaches that drive improvement in performance, engagement and cost. To take the skills and insight from this role into wider discussion across the business to add value To effectively plan the campaign timings and allocation of resource across the team aligning with the overall Marketing plan Key Responsibilities and Scope of role: To lead and develop our reporting and insight capability in regards to all online activity, but specifically: -Web performance -Social Media Activity -Marketing campaigns -Email engagement -Online Journey analysis Collaborate with campaign specialists/project leads to set appropriate KPIs, goals and measurable targets across the OMW online space To actively deliver recommendations and/or change through justifiable recommendations across the OMW online space and within marketing campaigns that deliver measurable improvement in outcome Provide analytics and insight to wider development, production and research team to ensure continued quality output and change Work closely with Research and Insight team to drive value from functions output, recommendations and plans. Work with senior stakeholders in business case design and implementation of analytics capability on major business projects and marketing initiatives Promote best practice and share technical knowledge with other team members Work with wider digital team owners to implement appropriate tracking, tools and capability in line with the digital roadmap whilst delivering clear, measurable results-driven analytics Participate in wider project discussions to add value and recommend ideas for the digital delivery output. Produce regular performance dashboard and detailed reporting across agreed initiatives and BAU errors including, where appropriate, suggested next steps. To integrate wider research and business knowledge into reporting to add value to output and change plans. To support the wider marketing team in delivering of core activity on a needs basis Qualifications required: Educated to A level standard Qualification in Online Marketing desired but not essential Experience required: Analytical mind and approach to problem solving, making recommendation and driving change Proven track record of delivering change through Analytic and Insight led initiatives Social Analytics expert having used Crimson Hexagon/Radian 6 or similar A Google Analytics expert with 3 years proven experience in a customer and/or business facing environment Excellent knowledge of Google Tag Manager Multi variant testing experience a benefit Proven UX skills delivered across the online space Experience of other analytics and digital marketing tools an advantage Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript an advantage Be highly numerate with a good understanding of statistics Highly proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Be responsible for the integrity of data they use Have an understanding of consumer behaviour in all stages of the life cycle Experience of managing and collaborating with agencies and third parties Knowledge of Social SEO, PPC, email marketing and other digital marketing activities Knowledge of Sales force and marketing integration an advantage Knowledge of delivering both B2B and B2C online campaign engagement and advantage Experience of working in financial services or another regulated sector an advantage Experience of working in digital across multiple territories an advantage Dash boarding skills in order to customize trends into a format that allows for ease of communication of insight and performance.
