Reporting into the HR Director the HR Manager will be responsible for all things Human Resources related. Leading the UK People Team, applying best practice locally within an international business environment. You will be operationally focused with a confident, experienced and strategic approach. Providing a comprehensive service to both management and staff within the London office and internationally where required. Client Details My client are Growing International Travel and Leisure retail brand, creating memorable travel experiences throughout the world. Description Key Responsibilities will include Offering specialist advice to the business in order to resolve any local employment related issues Providing administration, legal, procedural advice and HR support service to management and all employees Managing the day to day issues regarding all HR queries, overseeing payroll and the HR system Ensuring the management of all administration of HR related documentation including contracts, maternity and paternity information, leaver processing, payroll and performance management are recorded adequately Continuously developing and updating local policies and procedures Managing and initiating relationships with key stakeholders within the business specifically other members of the People Team and Department Managers to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed Coaching and challenging all line management to effectively deliver performance management practices Dealing with complex disciplinary, grievance and HR issues, using your experience and HR/company knowledge to offer appropriate decision making skills Mentoring and guiding the HR Assistant (direct report) ensuring growth and development Working in conjunction with the international People Team uniting in the HR strategy and supporting when required in various projects Performing any other HR related duties/HR related projects as assigned or when requested Profile Skills and Experience - specialist technical knowledge Essential Proven experience within a similar role - focused on business partnering/advisory role Demonstrable experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects A strong understanding of UK employment law Able to work in Cross Cultural environments Superb communication skills Desirable Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team. Italian Speaker (all levels) CIPD or equivalent qualification Abilities/Qualities Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail Proactive team player Self-motivated, tenacious, uses initiative and problem solver Work to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude Strong communicator internal / external Job Offer £50,000 to £60,000 benefits This job was originally posted as
