We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MIS Manager to join the team at our office in Merseyside. Working within our Funded Training team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting strategic decision making by leading the Information Services resource of the Company. They will implement and maintain a reporting environment in which end users are able to efficiently and effectively access appropriate, timely, compliant and customer friendly reports suitable for use by internal and external stakeholders. They will also lead on the provision of externally required reports that satisfy the funding agency, OFSTED and audit expectations. Further to this the MIS Manager will have responsibility for providing accurate and timely statistical analysis to the senior management team and board of directors; this will include funding income forecasts and departmental performance analysis. The successful candidate will have: · degree level education (or equivalent) · excellent written and verbal communication skills · demonstrable experience of MS Windows Network implementation / configuration and MS SQL Database Management · proven experience of managing successful business driven MIS systems, and producing comprehensive reports · experience of successful team management and maintaining excellent collaborative relationships at all levels · the ability to plan strategically whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Desirable but not essential is: · experience within a training/educational environment · familiarity with the Tribal Mytas 5 learner record system · knowledge of the SFA funding methodology and its application to provide clarity for management decision making and funding opportunities.
