About The Role

To provide leadership, consultancy and support in the evolution of core business systems.

The Business Systems Solutions Architect (BSSA) will provide expertise, management and support for key business systems used to deliver services to internal and external customers.

The BSSA will work with business stakeholders to define user requirements and with internal/external development teams to deliver system and reporting solutions/enhancements. You will also support the introduction of new technologies into the business to deliver ways of working efficiencies and competitive advantage.

You will also lead the management of data across business system to ensure conformance to internal and external requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • To provide management, consultancy, configuration and support for business systems
  • To engage with users at all levels of the business to help drive the use of technology and solutions
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of systems and associated technology services
  • Understand user requirements, map to system functionality and work with development teams to deliver the required features
  • Act as the key point of contact for users needing advice and support in the development of technology based services
  • Drive/support system adoption across the user base
  • Support the management of data and the production of MI reporting in the systems
  • Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience of managing and supporting business solutions
  • A good understanding of systems and data
  • Experience in business system related roles focused on building platforms/strategies to drive user adoption/engagement
  • Experience of student/learner management systems would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of data manipulation, migration and interfacing
  • Experience of working within project guidelines and tight timeframes
  • Able to work to deadlines and pressure
  • You must be a team player with excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
