Life Science Sales move in to Product Management Sector: molecular genetics Location: Office based from South East England Salary: competitive Our client is a leading name in the supply innovative solutions to the molecular genetics sector and supply clinicians globally with the tools to support research and identification of rare diseases. With a strong reputation and well established client base they are looking to recruit a Product Manager to support the Marketing and strategic positioning of their Molecular Genetics products. This is an exciting first step into Product Management and would suit a Life Science Sales person looking to transition into a PM role or a Scientific Marketer who is looking for a more technical & commercial role. The successful candidate will take responsibility for: Developing successful action plans to maximise sales Market mapping and analysis Identifying and driving new product innovations and diagnostics Engaging with customers and prospects to understand their immediate and aspirations needs Feedback results to R&D & marketing teams Develop actions that fine tune positioning and future sales argumentation Organise customer events, conferences & seminars to raise awareness & interest Own and develop the tactical marketing plans for Molecular genetics Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to support the development of the strategic plan and product innovations/offerings Constantly re-evaluate USP’s against market & competitors and ensure their a clear message being delivered to the customer through technical, web and sales tool literature The successful candidates will be based from their Head Office in South East England. You will be office based but with approx. 1 day per week with customers or attending events or exhibitions. The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant life science discipline. Higher education qualifications would be desirable. Hands on bench experience in genetics would be extremely desirable. Applicants must also have a proven background within either Life Science Sales or Marketing. Excellent communication skills are essential, you must be fluent in English (Oral and written) and have a full UK driving license.
