My client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high end chemical dyes used predominantly within the Petroleum industry. Due to growth within the business, they are working with 360 Resourcing Ltd to recruit an Account Manager to join them at their Head offices based in the Manchester area. Your role will be to support a number of the companies key client accounts and deal with incoming enquiries from new customers in the the Asia and Africa areas to grow and maximise on these relationships. To apply for the role you will need to be fluent in French as well as English and ideally have some experience working within a commercial role. Experience of manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential to apply as long has you have some commercial experience, drive and the languages needed. Key Responsibilities Develop business opportunities and nurture existing relationships with key clients and new clients to optimise on sales Establish relationships with agents and distributors to support business development Ensure all customers receive the highest level of Customer Service Deal with day to day queries from clients in the UK, Germany, Scandinavia and East Europe Put together new product requests from clients Work as the Lead contact for any client queries in your territory Put together pricing, proposals and quotations Attend client visits in the UK & Europe (apx 25% travel) Compile sales forecasts Lead or participate in sales related projects to develop business Maintain up to date proficiency in technology, product knowledge and export processes Complete sales administration tasks in a timely manner Experience, qualifications and skills Degree qualified (essential) (business, linguistics or engineering qualification) French speaking B2B account management experience within export, logistics or manufacturing (preferred) Sales experience (Preferred) Commercially aware Ideally you will be a graduate with a minimum of 18 months experience within sales and must have French speaking capabilities. You should be looking to develop a career within a commercial environment, be driven, confident and want to provide your customers with a high level of service. In return our client offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000, quarterly bonuses, pension and private healthcare scheme as well as the opportunity to work with the market leader in a strong and buoyant industry.
