I am working with a leading information security consultancy providing services to both public and private sector clients. They require a Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker to join their growing team of information security assessment specialists to deliver high quality, technical penetration testing and ethical hacking engagements. Your team will provide cyber security response and investigative services, supporting customers to manage security incidents and compromises. Importantly, you will deliver services, technologies and platforms across a diverse range of industry sectors. The role is fast-paced, requiring team members to maintain and develop their technical skills - sometimes in uncertain environments. The role includes both individual and team working. The current team comprises of skilled professionals striving constantly to expand their knowledge and willing to share and support the team development. You will be expected to travel up to 4 days a week depending on project requirements, although extensive time away from home is not required. The following experience is required: • Strong technical abilities to conduct infrastructure and application security assessments employing a variety of techniques (both automated and manual) throughout the full pentesting delivery cycle (recon, vulnerability assessment, exploitation, lateral movement); • Penetration testing ability covering Infrastructure, Application and Wireless testing; • Programming skills supporting tool development and customisation - (shell scripting, Perl, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Java); • Ability to define and scope penetration testing requirements; • Ability to document and communicate vulnerabilities and associated security risks with the stakeholders; • Strong time management and interpersonal skills. Desirable skills include mobile penetration testing, social engineering, physical penetration testing, security source code reviews, Industrial Control Systems (SCADA) testing, incident response/forensics analysis. The ideal candidate will be certified at CHECK team member/leader or equivalent (CREST or TIGER (Cyber Scheme) OSCP. Full UK Driving License and SC Security Clearance is desirable.
