Fabricator/Welder vacancy at large manufacturer in North Wales. Permanent role. £24k overtime rates. Your new company Your new company is a large and well established manufacturing organisation in the heart of Deeside industrial estate. They are one of the leading companies in the engineering sector and they supply to big name clients including TATA steel and British Aerospace, covering all engineering services such as machining, fabrication, installation and fitting. Due to an increasing work load they are looking to recruit more members of the team to begin employment and grow with the company. Your new role You will be fabricating and welding a diverse range of components and working with metals with a variety of thickness'. Occasionally you will be required to do offsite work therefore having a CSCS card is highly beneficial. You will be doing general quality checking and must be aware of quality standards. You will be working Monday- Friday 7.30-3.30 and any overtime worked you will receive an increased rate of time and half. What you'll need to succeed You need to be a time-served fabricator and welder. It is important that you can read CAD and engineering drawings and possess the ability to fabricate to specification. You will have at least a few years experience within this role in an engineering environment and be able to work independently, using your own initiative. It is vital you are a reliable and self-motivated individual who is hard working and wants to build a career. What you'll get in return You will get a competitive rate of pay- £12.50ph along with very good company benefits including a pension scheme, holiday allowance and sick pay. You will receive overtime rates of time and a half and double time on Sundays. You also get an extra £30 to stay on if asked within 1 hour of finishing and an extra £75 on call out if you are at home.
