Biostatistician / Biostatistics / Senior Statistical Scientist Location: Herefordshire Salary: Competitive DOE A global Pharmaceutical Company who are based in Hertfordshire are seeking a Senior Biostatistician to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: Will be aligned therapeutically with cross-functional Medical Affairs teams to provide statistical and analytical guidance and support in the development and execution of medical strategies, plans and projects. Provides advanced input into statistical sections of the protocol Development Plan per client requirement – take on projects independently Develops statistical analysis plan (SAP) and assist in preparing the data validation plan based on guidance from client Works with programming team to provide definitions, documentation, and review of derived variables needed to produce planned tables, listings, and graphs Strong hands-on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development Performs statistical analysis according to the SAP, validates analysis programs, reviews TLGs, prepares statistical methods Performs and/or coordinates and oversees the preparation, execution, reporting and documentation of all analyses Minimum Requirements: PhD or Master’s Degree 3 years’ experience in statistics/biostatistics Sound knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics Must demonstrate aptitude to understand Phase IV/post-marketing drug development (knowledge of or experience with Phase I - III drug development is preferred) Proven experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation and clinical relevance Relevant therapeutic area knowledge is a plus Experience working as a statistical consultant is a plus Skills/Abilities Outstanding attention-to-detail Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and skills Ability to function effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, establish collaborative work relationships, and willingness to partner with others Excellent project management skills Good interpersonal, verbal and writing communication and influencing skills You can apply for this opportunity by sending your updated CV through to and call Sarah on to discuss in further detail.
