We’re seeking to recruit an experienced, driven and technically minded IT Resourcing Supplier & Relationship Lead for a large, technology and customer focused financial services business in Glasgow. This organisation has plans in places for ambitious technological growth and as a result requires an addition to the recruitment and resourcing department. You will play a key role in driving massive digital and organisational transformation from a recruitment and supplier point of view. You will work closely with the digital and technical services departments, adding value and delivering benefit throughout the business. More specifically, you’ll need the following: a proven track record in a multi-disciplinary IT environment; strong commercial awareness including demonstrable external contract management; experience of working with capacity plans to drive and implement resource plans; to actively build and maintain a network of colleagues and contacts to achieve progress on objectives and shared interests; excellent planning and organisational skills and finally you may also have a technical background in a recognised IT discipline e.g. Business Systems Analysis, Development or Testing. Key Accountabilities Measure supplier performance against contractual and aspirational service delivery targets whilst assisting in agreeing and monitoring improvement plans with suppliers Lead regular supplier review meetings to assess supplier performance and contract compliance Take ownership of improving and generating supplier status analysis and reports on supplier relationship management activity Define, manage, prioritise and report on value-add programmes of work with your designated suppliers Forecast spend and manage budget against approved levels Undertake reviews of existing contracts and work with the stakeholders to define and implement improvement plans where required Review the Capacity Plans for your area and work with the delivery management team to create and manage a plan Where vacancies exist for permanent or temporary staff, utilise appropriate channels to source resources/services and collaborate with colleagues to determine new channels where appropriate Facilitate and co-ordinate recruitment for your area to ensure that vacancies are filled in a timely manner If you’re looking for exciting challenges, better work-life balance, the opportunity to join a growing business and to work in a goal-driven environment please call Alasdair Walker on 0131 344 4785 for consideration.
