With industry leading expertise in project and materials management and controlled substance licensing, it is well suited to handle the specialist needs of our customers. The Continuous Improvement team are dedicated to driving site wide process improvement initiatives for the benefit of our patients and we are looking to recruit a suitably skilled Process Engineer to help lead process improvement across our Bathgate facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Catalent at this exciting time of continued and sustained growth. Your role will see you being accountable for the monitoring and improvement of site capability for defined processes, preparation and management of project plans to meet required milestones. You will be required to process map processes across Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Project Management and work to proactively to increase understanding of critical process parameters including understanding of interactions of product, equipment, processes, people and materials. To do this you will develop appropriate business cases, technical documentation and project plans to support process changes and manage implementation of approved projects to agreed timelines. You will also lead meetings and kaizen events with Subject Matter Experts and other internal teams to facilitate process improvements. In this role you will be an advocate for and be able to influence business change across the organisation and to change long held perceptions. Your role will see you support effective root cause analysis and elimination of deviation complaints and deliver the projects within agreed upon timelines and budget. You will also be responsible for: Identifying, agreeing and implement lean processes Providing recommendations on best practice and supporting implementation of revised processes/procedures at user level Developing and coordinate Lean Six Sigma You will have management responsibilities for a team and will be responsible for the work of that group; and to understand the workload of the group. Ensure that all process change activities are carried out in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice, including ensuring impacts of all process changes is assessed and managed prior to implementation, and that necessary protocols are developed and executed to support justification of process change Liaise with relevant department staff and management with respect to the project and timelines. To be successful in this role you will be required to display strong Leadership negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills as well a GMP background with experience of Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC process, Kaizen), Quality Management Systems and understanding of GMP regulations. You will have proven experience in managing projects and project teams. You should enjoy interacting and influencing people of all levels and be a confident communicator and be proficient with MS Office Programs, including MS Project.
