Solution Architect, Unified communications, Cisco, Avaya Aura, IP, Lync, Based in Birmingham, Flexible rates Role: Solution Architect (Unified communications) Location: Birmingham Contract / Perm Flexible rate / Salary The Solution Architect role will be responsible for the design implementation and support of Unified communication services, working with internal stakeholders and directly with the customer in order to design and document the solution to be offered to customers ensuring adherence to Global standards and ensuring local Business needs are considered as well as playing an active part in IT decision making and providing technical support to key systems and infrastructure on a global basis. Key Skills: Competent with Cisco products across the board, Qualification in CCNA, CCIE, Cisco unified communications platform design, Cisco UCCE, Implementation of Cisco UC, Desirable) Systems in place include Cisco unified Communications manager, Cisco Unified contact centre enterprise, Cisco Cups, Cisco Jabber, MS Skype for business, Cisco Unity Connect, Cisco WebEx, EGAIN. Avaya Aura Platform - Enterprise Collaboration Software (Avaya Aura IPT Desirable) IP Networking (WAN & LAN) UC design integration experience BT one voice and Verizon resilient SIP PSTN trunks Microsoft Lync integration with Avaya Aura (Voicemail, Faxing, Conferencing etc.) CISCO Meeting Place integration with Avaya Aura over direct SIP interconnects Key Responsibilities: design custom solutions to requirements.
