Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for the NDT inspection of aerospace component products using magnetic particle bench inspection techniques and post emulsified fluorescent penetrant techniques. The ideal candidate will have prior NDT experience of the above methods inspecting small components within a manufacturing environment. NDT Inspector Key Responsibilities: · Inspect the product for relevant indications using the following NDT techniques: o Fluorescent magnetic particle bench. o Post emulsified fluorescent penetrant inspection. · Refer indications found at the Laboratory and liaise where necessary on the nature of the defects. · Perform necessary control checks on the equipment · Maintain required quality data. · Maintain required personal accreditation via regular eye tests, examination and appraisal as administered by the company NDT Inspector Qualifications, skills, attributes, experience required: · A minimum of six months documented experience in each of the following: o Fluorescent magnetic particle bench. o Post emulsified fluorescent penetrant inspection. · Knowledge should be gained inspecting small components in a manufacturing environment. · High level of attention to detail · Excellent communication skills both oral and written · Experience of working in a high pressure environment and delivering to tight deadlines Committed, driven and tenacious.
