Developer - learn tech to become full stack £30-45k depending on experience benefits (bonus, gym membership, brand new office, 25 days' holiday, contributory pension, childcare vouchers and more) Stoke on Trent (commutable from Crewe, Altrincham, Macclesfield, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Cannock, Walsall, Telford) I'm recruiting for a firm who invest substantially in technology in order to stay ahead in a highly progressive industry sector. They can offer varied work in a stable environment which offers clear career progression opportunity. At the same time if you're happy being an out-and-out coder you'll still be recognised and rewarded for your work. We are building a team of Software Engineers who can turn their hand to most areas of development as opposed to being specialists in one field. As such, even though this is a full stack dev role, it doesn't matter if you are a back-end Developer and don't have strong front end / UI skills, or vice versa What's important is you have a pragmatic and simple approach to development and are very willing to learn. It's likely you'll have a Computer Science degree and will understand the fundamentals of Object Oriented programming. This firm are mainly C# based but even if you haven't coded in C# but instead are coming from a VB.NET or Java background we want to speak with you You'll also be developing in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. There are further opportunities to work on complex business logic too. We'd expect you to have SQL development skills, or studied database programming at Uni. We really like Developers who can investigate and find stuff out off their own back - you will be given loads of help and support though at the same time won't be spoon fed. This autonomous culture means it's very realistic to be recognised and rewarded - there are definite career progression opportunities available. Joining this company will see your career develop rapidly - the sheer breadth of the systems being developed and investment in IT means that you won't fail to learn There's a constant variety of work - you may be working on multiple projects concurrently - so no chance you'll stagnate or become bored doing the same thing day in, day out. As a Developer you'll work in smart offices with the latest kit, and won't be expected to work ridiculous hours or at weekends - the majority of employees have families so the business appreciates striking a good work/life balance Please apply to Neilesh Sood on 01159485712 for more information.
