With more than fifty years expertise across the complete nuclear asset lifecycle Jacobs assist both commercial and government clients globally to sustain, modernise and deliver change. Whether it’s an existing facility, next generation nuclear system or the closing of a legacy asset. Jacobs are currently working with Sellafield Ltd, Magnox Ltd and Horizon Nuclear Power within the UK. Working on nuclear licenses sites Jacobs help solve a variety of technical and program delivery challenges from plant performance to nuclear waste management and clean-up. Your nucleargraduates programme will be broken down into technical and behavioural training. It will be structured against the needs of the institute with whom you’re aiming to gain chartered engineer status. You will come together with your fellow graduates to complete ‘core’ training as well as having the benefit of an individual training budget for training specific to your personal development. On top of this you will spend 10% of your time with us to Footprints, our corporate social responsibility programme. You will have the opportunity to become a STEM ambassador, passing on your knowledge and enthusiasm to the next generation of scientists and engineers. You will establish a start-up company, developing your commercial awareness and allowing your appreciation of the challenges faced by a small business. You will work with local community projects, meeting inspirational individuals. This is a unique opportunity to experience the different aspects of our complex, ever-changing industry before starting employment with Jacobs to continue your career and professional development.
