A leading IT Services organisation requires a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to be based on client site in Leeds. This is a key role within my client's business unit and is a single point of ownership for the delivery of contracted services for their named customer. As Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of quality services delivered in a professional and commercially effective manner as well as delivering against commercial and service objectives within an ITIL framework. The position of Service Delivery Manager will have the following responsibilities;- Provide contract governance and control within an ITIL framework. Overall management of the services provided to the named client, maintaining an excellent supplier/client relationship, responsible for service contracts and repair business and working with the sales function to support new opportunities. Manage ongoing service delivery relationship with the named client, thereby maximising client satisfaction, continued retention and revenues. This is a key role in the fulfilment of the client's experience and profitability of the business unit. Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet. Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed Extensive experience in a service delivery role providing IT infrastructure and Unified Comms managed hosting services, ideally within a named account. Strong experience of delivering services within an ITIL framework across all disciplines. Ability to fully understand the named clients business and the impact of the services delivered by the business unit. Demonstrable experience in contract management and negotiation skills. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Service Level Management. Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied and complex workload. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent communication skills at all levels including board level Ability to work under pressure, deliver to timescales, remain decisive or professional. Excellent relationship skills and the ability to create and maintain business relationships at all levels with the named client, including board level. Strong skills managing financial models used within an IT managed service environment. Commercial acumen and the ability to provide customer solutions using appropriate resources to achieve deliverables, thereby maximising margin opportunity. Good understanding of the business unit portfolio and a working knowledge of the technology which supports the client's solution. ITIL v3 Foundation qualification.
