My Oxford based client requires a Software Implementation Consultant to join as they continue to grow . The successful Software Implementation Consultant will work on highly successful products that help Local Authorities to manage their contracts, commissioning, finance and quality monitoring. The Software Implementation Consultant will involve project management. Each implementation involves dealing with several individuals from different organisations all working towards tight deadlines. The product supports a set of complex business processes. This involves the ability to quickly learn our product and to configure it to meet the customer’s needs. The Software Implementation Consultant role is ideal for anybody with experience in both Project Management and Technical Implementations (ideally with a Microsoft Tech Stack). This exciting Technical Project Manager position seeks anyone with experience with client-facing, full lifecycle implementations. As well as a strong technical understanding/background, the Software Implementation Consultant will need to have strong knowledge of the Prince 2 methodology as well as experience with databases and data migrations. Software Implementation Consultant Key Skills: Technical Project Management or management of full lifecycle software implementations Running scripts and processes to extract and migrate customer data into databases Applicants must have the ability to handle a complex product / domain and the ability to manage projects and customers Stakeholder Management and experience in client-facing roles Successful applicants will have a 2.1 degree in a relevant subject Any of the following would be advantageous to your application: Experience working in the English social care system or within local government finance. Training skills PRINCE2 qualifications Agile Methodologies SQL server skills The role is permanent and full-time and involves travel to customer sites of about 2 days per week. This an exciting and complex role and the successful candidate will be provided with ample opportunity to gain skills and experience.
