Refrigeration Service and Breakdown Engineer. Location: - Bedfordshire Salary: - £25,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience over time Paid Travel company Van Package Hours of work: - 40 Hrs 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (plus overtime) An excellent opportunity has arisen to work within a forward thinking Bedford based company, providing a seamless maintenance service within the refrigeration industry. We are looking for an experienced service and breakdown engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic role which offers an excellent working environment and progression opportunities for the right person. My client is a leading refrigeration company in its field. Working on national and regional contracts, they deliver a diverse range of services to its customers, ranging from large industrial facilities to small independent users. My client covers a large geographical footprint to provide an efficient, friendly and professional service to all customers no matter where they are located. My client’s core services include, service and breakdown cover for refrigeration equipment and installations of large refrigeration projects, however being able offer a broad range of services to increase customer satisfaction and maximise sales is key. This is complimented by a 24/7 365 days a year service. As a service and breakdown engineer your role will be to provide an initial first response to call outs and carry out service work for customers. This includes first fix or successful diagnosis of electrical and refrigeration faults. With the proven ability to analyse and show good attention to detail, you will be able to communicate at all levels to both internal staff and client representatives providing a first class service at all times. Day to Day duties will include the following: · Attend sites and diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance. · Review client equipment and advise customers on correct operating procedures. · Completion of electronic job sheets and service reports on a daily basis · Provide detailed information for office staff to enable them to provide accurate quotations and follow up action. · Good customer liaison to help up sell the company name and services As a person you will need the following qualities & experience: · Be able to react quickly and multi-task · Strong Customer Service skills · F-Gas Qualification C&G 2078 or equivalent · Good electrical fault finding skills · Good refrigeration fault finding skills · Disciplined individual with ability to work under pressure · Previous experience in a similar role · Experience with working with ammonia (Advantageous) · Installation of refrigeration equipment and electrical circuits (Advantageous) This job was originally posted as
