As we continue to invest in our brands, we are looking for an Online Designer to join our team in helping build omni-channel brands and digitally connected campaigns that reach our customer in surprising and inspiring ways. The role As an Online Designer you will be responsible for producing creative for a variety of digital media, in response to a design brief and for presenting creative concepts to stakeholders, outlining how the creative provides a solution to their brief. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs or prototypes meet the companies and brands specified guidelines/requirements and are briefed and handed over to our production teams. What you’ll be responsible for: Producing high quality, creative and innovative concept work across web, email and social in response to a design brief. Presenting designs to stakeholders, outlining how the design provides a solution to the brief. Meeting with internal customers to discuss their requirements and project progress, working with stakeholders and colleagues to agree a final, ‘signed off’ design. Keeping up-to-date the latest technological and software developments to understand the possibilities of each channel. Liaising with the production team to ensure that all creative designs or prototypes are efficiently documented, briefed and handed over. Proactively suggesting creative improvements as to how we continually improve engagement with customers – across all channels. Provide support to the Design Manager, where appropriate. What you will need to succeed in the role of Online Designer: Ability to demonstrate a strong flair for idea generation, visual design and communication. Evidence of significant design and development experience, ideally in a commercial ecommerce environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite / industry standard design software packages / front end development languages. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and engage effectively at any level. Pro-active, positive & flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Ability to support the development of others by sharing experience and expertise. An open-minded, flexible and positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to embrace new technologies and business change. Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
