Cosine is working closely with the world’s largest producer of herbs, spices, seasonings and flavourings company throughout the key months of November and December to support the field team over the busy seasonal period.

Cosine merchandisers will support the core team Sales Merchandiser by ensuring stock is collected from the relevant storage locations, delivered to store and merchandised within the correct locations on the shop floor.

In this role you will also support the Team Manager covering gaps within the region owing to holiday, sickness or vacancy. This role requires a high level of flexibility and initiative as you will be directed at short notice and be expected to pick up instruction and deliver within an unfamiliar area.

You will primarily to completing the role of the merchandiser but if coverage is not required you will support the Team Manager with any inductions / audits / field visits that they require.

This is a really exciting role for someone who loves to be part of a team and never knows what tomorrow will bring. Special requirement: you do need to be happy to drive a van – caddy/transit – and heavy lifting is a requirement of the role.

Rate of pay: £9.38 per hour + £175.00 completion bonus (pro-rata for part time)

It is essential that you:

·Are happy to cover a very large territory which will involve some overnights

·Have experience Merchandising: Highly Desired

·Are happy to drive a van and have a full UK drivers licence.

·Are comfortable using an iPad or similar for reporting

·Experience of multitasking and managing challenging workload; Highly desired

·Have a positive “can-do approach” managing relationships and expectations.

·Thrive on working to and surpassing targets.

·Enjoy being out on the road and working independently.

·Willing and able to move and lift heavy stock daily

·Have use of the internet/mobile phone

Hours of work: full time – depending on the area most areas will require 35 – 45 hours per week. Working days are usually Monday to Friday however, flexibility to work on a Saturday is essential - Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are both Saturdays and calls are required on these days.

Duration: This is a tactical/temporary role, there is a briefing day on 24 OR 25 OR 26 October (territory dependent) and then you will do two field based training days on 27 and 28 October. The campaign will run until either the end of November or the 31 December 2016 (territory dependent).
