Job Title: Product & Technical Support Administrator Job Ref: JO28289 Location: Hull Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Product & Technical support administrator to join a friendly and supportive team based in Hull. They are a global organisation who have recently been bought and require support in the Product/Technical department. This position reports into the Product & Technical Support Manager and you will be required to work with a number of key personnel across various departments such as marketing and production. The organisation has recently been bought and is currently integrating well and now has enormous potential. They are a market leader in their respective field and this is a great time to join them and contribute to their growth. The role does involve some elements of Quality Control & Assurance and these are areas that can be taught. Experience working either in, or closely with, production and manufacturing departments is highly desirable. You will be helping to maintain existing product specifications as well as requesting changes when necessary. As such you must demonstrate excellent organisational skills as well as great attention to detail. Key responsibilities: • This includes the maintenance of product technical files and specifications • As well as assisting in the implementation of Quality Assurance procedures • Support the research and development function • Work with various departments on product design/specification • Respond to customer product enquiries • Ensure all technical files are accurately maintained • Assist with ensuring compliance with a focus on ISO standards • Work closely with the QA department providing support and assistance as instructed • Previous experience in project and change management • A Bachelor’s degree in Product Design and/or Engineering/Technology is preferable though not essential Key skills: • Team player • Excellent communication/organisational skills • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines • Great attention to detail • Flexible approach to working • Excellent customer service • Results focused If you are interested in applying for this role please send your CV Due to the volume of applications we receive, if you have not heard from the managing consultant within 1 week, please assume you have not been short listed.
