An opportunity has arisen to join a forward thinking 3PL distribution company as a Stock and Administration Manager. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for the management of the PI, Stock and Administration Depts. You will have at least 3 years of experience as a Stock and Administration Manager within a warehouse operation. On offer is a salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience. Hours of Work Day shift Monday to Friday although flexibility is required to cover peak periods Main Duties Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the PI, Stock and Administration departments, ensuring the highest level of service to the client is maintained at all times. · Lead and inspire your team to achieve high levels of service · Cost management and budget control · Recommend improvements and support implementation · Ensure your team exceed KPI’s and SLA’s at all times · Accurate stock control and inputting on to the system · Monitor and report pick accuracy · Stock investigating · Reporting and communicate with internal and external stakeholders · Labour requirement planning · Grievance and disciplinary proceedings · Health and Safety compliance at all times · Remain flexible with duties to support other departments · Carry out and action time and motion studies · Mentor, train and develop staff. · Liaise with on-site customer Person Specification · Over 3 years of experience as a Stock and Admin. Manager · Able to make positive decisions and work on own initiative · Able to achieve high levels of service · Strong customer relationship skills on a face to face basis · Proven track record of positive process implementation · Engaging and developing management style · Flexible approach to duties · Real team player · Able to work well under pressure · Good knowledge of WMS · Previous experience of working with Priam would be advantageous · Strong organizational skills · Computer literate with a good understanding of WMS Package A basic salary of up to £27,000 is on offer at this rapidly growing 3PL distribution company.
