THE PIG - on the beach is looking for a highly organised and reliable Breakfast Chef who is passionate about producing breakfast to a high standard using fresh, locally sourced produce. Our eggs don't come fresher than from our chickens on-site Previous experience in a similar role is preferable, with an appreciation of the importance of making sure our guests truly enjoy the best of what the most important meal of the day has to offer. Passion is the key to our success, so we want our Breakfast Chefs to be enthusiastic about our food, our animals, the kitchen garden, foraging, and everything you do We require our Breakfast Chefs to: Prep and cook dishes for a busy breakfast service Ensure that portion size is controlled Maintain high standards in all aspects of your role Bring fresh ideas Be willing to learn and progress The role is a permanent full time position requiring the successful candidate to work 5 days out of 7, and with the Breakfast Chef starting at 6am so local accommodation and / or reliable transport is a must As a member of the kitchen team, the learning and development opportunities are endless. You will experience: Butchery, charcuterie, fish, pasta and bread masterclasses Foraging with local experts Weekly kitchen garden tours and harvesting workshops An environment with livestock such as pigs, chickens, sheep, quail and bees. Visits to local suppliers Regular tasting of new dishes and ingredients Health & Safety courses Who are we?
