Eden Brown is working in partnership with a Disability Charity to recruit a Head of Trusts. You will support and line manage members of the Trust, Statutory and Lottery team to meet the annual work plan objectives and financial targets as set out in the team budget. You will account manage on-going grants, working with colleagues to monitor and report on specified outputs and outcomes, fully satisfy the expectations of funders and successfully draw down restricted and unrestricted funding. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Devise and implement a fundraising strategy to optimise fundraising from trust, statutory and lottery sources. Set an annual budget and regularly monitor and track income, forecasts and reforecasts to determine realistic trust, statutory and lottery activity and to achieve annual team income targets. Manage members of the Trust, Statutory and Lottery Team to meet the annual work plan objectives and targets. To participate in quarterly Fundraising Management Team meetings, providing updates on value of pipeline applications, income against target, expenditure. To achieve agreed income targets from current and new supporters, with a focus on major trusts, statutory sources and the Big Lottery Fund. To research major trusts which are likely to support the work of the Charity and to write tailor made and persuasive proposals to them. To develop relationships with new key trusts with a view to securing their long-term support; this may involve face to face meetings and presentations.
