The Role: The Digital PM will manage a major website refurbishment including developing specifications with agreement from relevant parties and achieving deadlines for works required. The Digital PM has day to day responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the projects they are managing. The successful candidate will work on a day to day basis with other Managers managing and delivering multiple work streams for various types of digital projects such as website design and development and digital marketing. You will have excellent leadership skills and have experience in project initiation, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance in order to manage all aspects of each project. As a Digital PM, you will understand the key technical principles for the development process of website delivery. Ideally you may also have experience of dealing with ecommerce and digital marketing. An IT or technical digital background is not required for this role. The Person: You are a self-motivated and driven individual who will research our business and brands with an eye for detail. You are aware of ‘online’ trends, are ‘website savvy’ and will continue to keep your awareness and knowledge up to date with changing trends and technological advances. You will deliver projects on time, on budget and exceed quality expectations to make us stand out from competitors. You will be comfortable managing a changeable workload, working with multiple stakeholders and solving problems. Excellent communication skills are a must to ensure everyone involved in each project (internal and external to the business) receives the right level of communication. You are prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved in the business outside of your immediate remit in order to learn about our business and customers. You’ll also proactively manage your continuous professional development in a number of approaches to keep yourself and your standard of work up to date. You are calm under pressure and an efficient delegator with skills of persuasion and influence to drive results.
