To be multi-skilled in the tasks of Problem solving of unshipped orders, Picker, Packer, Goods in and Credits to ensure that the whole beginning to end process within the Logistics Department is carried out in line with agreed business plans. Client Details Growing SME within the Jewellery industry. Description Job Duties and Responsibilities; Problem orders/goods To find and monitor unshipped goods and find why they haven't been shipped. To locate items which are on orders but not in the Picker To check all labels and invoices and ensure that they match up against the Pick list on the screen To pick items from the correct bins To match up the picked items with the invoices To put the invoice, delivery label and the items on to the packers desk To check items for any damages, hallmarks and gold colour To make sure all goods are separated to go for hallmarking or ready to pack Packer To pack the customer's ordered products to a high quality standard To check the invoice and label to ensure that the name and address are the same To check items and correctly Invoice To ensure that all products are of excellent quality and there are no faults To ensure that the correct item goes into the correct jewellery box and is safely secured To put the order into a bubble bag, then into the delivery bag and ensure that it is sealed down To put the packed order into a box next to where you are packing To ensure that all orders are dispatched accordingly Credits To receive goods from the post and check they are not damaged To log all goods coming in daily Crediting goods correctly within the time frame and the quality of the products returned or if the items need to be repaired To log and monitor all repairs To make sure the customer is updated with the progress of any repairs Goods In/export To be responsible for receiving deliveries To take an inventory of the stock To book the items into the Company system To check the stock for any damages To move stock around in accordance with the Logistics guidelines To pass all faulty items on to the Assessment team. To carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager which would be in line with your job title. Making sure all parties evolved are aware of the exports coming to them. Goods to be correctly packed and secure for courier Profile Warehousing experience ESSENTIAL Good attention to detail. Good Communication skills. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately Ability to meet tight deadlines.
