Our client, an SME in the manufacturing and production sector are seeking an HR Manager on a permanent basis for their West Sussex base. You will lead Human Resources, Recruitment and Training activities to help the business unit achieve the people objectives, in line with cost, service and compliance in this highly regulated and unionised environment. The Role Experienced in recruitment and referencing policies to comply with strict regulatory requirements An in-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation Experience of implementation and development of HR process/policy Ability to plan, organise and delegate. Ability to work of a fast paced and ever changing business environment. Understanding of Compensation and Benefits packages/processes. Experience of assisting with Union negotiations. Experience in managing change programmes e.g. redundancy/restructure/redeployment The Person CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), you will be an experienced HR Generalist with experience gained in a blue collar, unionised environment. Significant experience in recruitment within a regulated environment and employee relations is also essential.
