This is a critical role within a growing B2B business, with responsibility to lead, devise, plan and implement a marketing and commercial strategy to increase global revenue. Reporting into the Managing Director, the Marketing Director will define the strategic direction and be accountable for implementing marketing and business plans with emphasis placed on growing existing markets and expanding into new territories. Client Details Since their inception in 1992, my client has developed organically and due to their rapid growth are looking to recruit a Marketing Director that will continue their commercial expansion. The business manufactures and distributes premium innovative products used in everyday life. The brand have ambitious but realistic plans to triple their revenue growth by 2020. They are based in Maidenhead. Description Manage and drive their marketing strategy Become a major contributor to the business's strategy development and implementation - new channels, new markets, new products, new business models Handle and manage all aspects of marketing support to 3rd party distributors Develop support packages for existing distributors Develop on-boarding tools and start-up manuals for new distributors Conduct market research to support new business development activities Manage marketing-related suppliers Manage company pricing policies Coordinate and execute new product launches Weigh-in on product development process Become an active member of the Operational Board Profile Proven track record in B2B marketing management at a senior level (B2B emphasis - distributor's business model) Excellent understanding and experience of B2B distributor's business model Proven track record of high-level contribution to strategy formulation processes Personal drive, tenacity and energy Able to perform 'hands on' as part of a small entrepreneurial team, as well as contribute to high-level decision making Degree in business or marketing, MBA is an advantage Strong analytic skills, business sense Ability to grasp technical concepts Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at Director/CEO level (both verbally and in writing) Strong presentation skills Top-notch capabilities in MS Office - PowerPoint and excel wizard Job Offer There is a lucrative remuneration package on offer for the successful candidate.
