As a HR Manager, you will play a key role within our Human Resources department by providing effective employee relations and a positive working climate locally, closely working with trade union representatives, line management and liaising with regional ER team where necessary. This is a chance for you to drive the effectiveness of our HR delivery model, guide line managers to obtain support from the right area and maintain a strong partnership with other parts of the HR Operating Model to ensure an excellent overall service delivery. Human Resources plays an essential role in making sure that Rolls-Royce employees and the organisation as a whole are working together to create a better future. This involves researching, developing and implementing the best HR solutions and new ideas across the company, as well as ensuring we have a consistent strategy, service and policy across all of our locations, regardless of country. On a more personal level, Human Resources acts as a trusted resource for all employees seeking guidance on both everyday matters and those of a more serious nature. Key Accountabilities Manage local components of projects and wider change programmes. Deploy Company talent tools and processes and support development of local talent within business area. Have prime responsibility for local deployment of Company HR processes such as Performance Management, Reward Review, Role Grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys and deployment of Diversity and Inclusion plans. Provide effective HR support to local business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes. Work with line managers and employees to resolve problems in areas beyond HRSSC remit, e.g. where face- to- face support or knowledge of the local business context is required. Advise, guide and coach line managers on their HR responsibilities, management behaviours and team management. Ensure accurate data management by advising HRSSC on all organisational changes and complying with approval and notification procedures. Support recruitment activity by ensuring vacancies are defined, graded and approved and line managers directed to the appropriate resourcing services. Qualifications Broad HR experience. In depth knowledge of HR function and its capability to support business objectives. Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Change Management, Talent Management and Employment Law. Well developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills. Strong customer service orientation. Broad change management skill set, combined with ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change. Significant experience in working with Trade Unions and in leading local Information, Consultation and Negotiation Activities. Post-graduate HR qualification or equivalent is desirable.
