Our brilliant client based in the centre of Gloucester is looking for an organised and pro-active Materials Controller to join their team. As a Materials Controller, you will be ensuring material stock levels remain sufficient in order to support production activities. Main responsibilities will include: Checking stock levels to see if they are sufficient for production Raising purchase orders based on daily production requirements Liaise with supplier on orders Liaise with production administration to ensure parts are available for build schedules and raise any possible issues that will delay production. Chase suppliers as and when required to ensure delivery schedules meet target dates. To be suitable for this role you will need to: Have great communication skills Be organised and pro active Have good IT skills Be able to manage your time effectively Prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
