These explain the job role and the type of person we are looking for We are looking for two UX Analysts to support the Senior User Experience analyst in improving the overall user experience, usability and quality of content of the Aberdeenshire Council website. Your experience with user interviews, journey mapping, visual and interaction design, information architecture, content strategy and user testing will ensure the quality of the Aberdeenshire Council website. The Aberdeenshire Council website is one of the most viewed local authority websites in Scotland with over 17 million page views per year. It provides a shop window to our ever increasing portfolio of digital services. Informal enquiries to Chris Leonard Tel: 01467 536043 Responsibilities Responsibilities • Managing the website User Experience team • Responsible for the quality of user experience on the Aberdeenshire Council website. • Owner and point of contact for all digital content on the Aberdeenshire Council website • Responsible for improving and enhancing online functions by working with ICT Developers • Responsible for reviewing and improving existing user journeys • Defining range of personas for testing user journeys • Responsible for aligning the Aberdeenshire Council website with best practice for local authority websites as measured by the annual SOCITM Better connected survey • Responsible for reviewing and aligning all existing content with the website content guidelines • Responsible for reviewing and updating/removing out of date content • Responsible for maintaining the website content guidelines • Responsible for reviewing, approving and implementing any content change requests to ensure alignment with website content guidelines • Responsible in the standardisation in look and feel for online forms (with the ICT Developers ) • Responsible for providing consistency in voice and presentation of content across the website • Responsible in public engagement for gathering user experience feedback • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that any 3rd party systems that represent Aberdeenshire Council comply with our branding, accessibility and usability standards.
