Our client is a market leader within the Facilities Management arena, through continued growth they are looking to recruit a Category Delivery Manager. The role of (CDM) is to be responsible for ensuring that the company’s supplier base is managed effectively to deliver the highest possible standards of service whilst ensuring excellent value. The CDM will support the company build strong relationships with suppliers through regular meetings and communication focussing not just on service but also on process improvement and innovation. The Category Delivery Manager will need to be able to successfully deal with both operational issues and strategic development, whilst supporting the greater team in the delivery of excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities/Accountabilities Management of key supply chain partners Measurement and reporting of performance against Client KPI’s and SLA’s Delivery of service levels Seasonal planning and mitigation Analysis of PPM requirements by site , region and format Data and trend analysis Risk Management Escalation and incident management Proactive identification of Industry Best Practise and innovation Working within agreed Governance procedures End to end accountability for supply chain delivery across responsible areas Day to day management of escalations with suppliers Supply chain management Close working with the procurement team Establishing strong internal cross departmental relationships Leading mobilisation of key new contracts Support Operations team to deliver highest levels of service Service improvement developments Subject matter expert for areas covered Skills & Knowledge Excellent supplier management skills Good and varied knowledge of industry Proven problem solving skills Strong data analysis and IT skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Excellent time management skills The ability to work as part of a team Self-motivated and professional attitude Qualifications & Experience Experience of senior stakeholder management Proven project management experience Experience of hosting and leading with senior stakeholders and suppliers Appropriate formal qualification eg.
